Virginia City Grand Prix, Sunday 4/27/2003 8:18am

On the beast, 1999 CR500R. It was my first race since I stopped in November 2000. I went into the race ill prepared, out of shape, and not intending to even finish. I ended up finishing on the front page of the expert/pro results. I didn't lay the bike over once during the whole race, and actually did unexpectedly well. I felt as though I was going to die the whole time though.
